Fiber Optic Installation
Fiber optic cable comprises strands of glass/optic fibers that transmit data and bandwidth across various distances at an incredible rate, making it the future of communication technology. Directional Drilling Inc installs underground fiber optic cables by utilizing state-of-the-art equipment that replaces older communication systems that can no longer efficiently handle the amount of data being moved throughout the network. Light pulses are sent through the insulated bands of fibers, enabling fast and efficient networking and communication capabilities.
Our incredibly durable drilling equipment can drill through any material, including rock. It can move in any direction to make pathways around obstacles like existing conduits, cement structures, or other supports. We use minor access points to guide our drills under flooring with absolute precision. Once underway, we can install up to 500 feet of fiber optic cable in about a day.
